A Bit About The Gallery............

A bit of history.........
Doug Forsythe Gallery was established in 1970, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Shortly after we began converting an old apple storage barn in nearby Greenwich to be a studio, gallery and living space, which we later moved into. In 1979 the gallery was relocated to Niagara-on-the-Lake in southern Ontario where it flourished for 38 years. Having spent summers on the south shore of Nova Scotia we decided to return to Chester, N.S. in 2017. This move realized a dream to live and work in an architecturally designed space tailored to our needs.
