A glimps into the work of Doug Forsythe spanning five decades - 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's &2000's. This publication outlines the career of artist/printmaker Doug Forsythe. It traces a forty year span in his career with works from each decade.In the early 1970,s his Wolfville Nova Scotia gallery and studio was destroyed in a major fire. This fire claimed all sketches, paintings, prints & photographs of previous works. The early works shown in this monograph were acquired from patrons who had purchased pieces prior to the fire. If you own an early Forsythe we would be most eager to hear from you so that we might document it and perhaps include it in future publications.
