Sunset is an original mixed media on stretched canvas. This piece is one in a series of paintings recently created to pay tribute to the small wooden boat. Because Doug Forsythe spent his childhood and early adult years by the sea in Nova Scotia these images have special meaning. Each painting in this series reflects a different mood through changing light and color.
