Aquatint Box

Here is an idea for an aquatint box. A vacuum cleaner air outake is used briefly to stir up the rosin dust. Adapt the dimension to fit your largest plate and also your studio space!

An idea for under counter plate storage works great if you have a lot of plates that are the same dimension not so great if all your plates are different Sizes.

Why Not! If you are going to make your own press why not make everything!

This is an idea for a bench for your new press. It makes good use of studio space. Under the press prints can be dried, paper & plates stored. The top serves as a work bench when the press is not in use and as a support for a large press bed when printing. The press here has a 36" by 96" press bed. You can adapt this design to fit your press and studio space.

An idea for hanging your prints out to dry the marble grips the paper and keeps it from falling. You will need to make a small strip of wood so you can move the marble up to release the paper when the print is dry. The marble grips the paper so well on mine that you could swing on the print once it is in place!
