Putting It All Together!
Below is a visual representation of assembling the Etching Press after you have had the parts fabricated at the machine shop and ordered your bearings & bolts.
Steps 1 & 2 are not necessary you can have the machine shop drill the holes for you for a couple of bucks extra.
This presentation shows you how easy it is to assemble. All you need is a wrench set and a couple of hours of free time and you will be pulling prints on your very own press. Your first edition of prints should pay for building the press and the freedom of having your very own press should add immeasurably to your artistic expression for the rest of your printmaking days.
